Tastemakers At Work
Or maybe bands that SHOULD have broken up by now?!
REM should've 15 yrs ago? U2 probably, too? KISS immediatley after filming "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park". So, 1978.This does not reflect well on me I'm sure, but I remember very much enjoying BLOOD, SUGAR, SEX, MAGIK (I hate spelling that with a K). So RHCP in 1992.Beastie Boys should've but I don't know when. 10 years ago? 15? Tomorrow?Screaming Trees should have broke up when they played at Bumbershoot, Lee's guitar broke at the end of END OF THE UNIVERSE, Mark kept repeating "It's a one..." 4 or 5 times and then yelled, "PLAY MOTHERFUCKER!", then threw down his mic stand and stormed off stage, but they instead hung around another few years. Pathetic. But you know other than that I got no opinions.
This interview is fantastic. Quincy is the man! https://www.gq.com/story/quincy-jones-has-a-story
