Spotify Year in Music

Spotify has this pretty dope "year in music" feature. https://yearinmusic.spotify.com/ My results were a bit of a yawn (my most played album was the Hamilton cast recording and my most played artist was Kendrick Lamar) except that I kicked off 2015 with "Still Feeling Blue" by Gram Parsons. I did not realize my January started off so January-ish! Happy Holiday music club!

    Spotify has pretty much called me a dope, because this year I do not have any access to Spotify. Why do you insist on “owning” “things”, Jim. No one does “things” anymore. My results would have been a bit of a yawn (my most played album was probably from 1972) except that I kicked off 2015 with "I Sold The Arabs The Moon" by David Lowery. I did not realize my January started off so 2011-ish! Happy Holiday whoever brought that to music club!

    I started the year with Shabazz Palaces - some podcast recommended them, I can't for the life of me remember who. (Audie Cornish on Pop Culture Happy Hour??) Marcy, they seem right up your alley? That person also recommended Hiatus Kaiyote, who seem right up Jim's alley!

    Boy, do I like Amos Lee!
