  1. I'm out of town Aug 1 - 7, but after that I can do it.
This one turned out to be kind of hard. Influences are a little vague sometimes.
I think I have to work on Thursday Aug 22, too.

  2. Wait, aren't a bunch of you in HI celebrating Deb day of birthday somewhere in Aug. Sorry I'm missing that. Aloha and Happy B-Day, Deb.

  3. Pat and Deb are out Aug 11-26
I am having a great deal of difficulty with this theme, oh wait, perhaps I will be influenced by something in Hawaii!

  4. Aloha Jim! Wish you were going to be there with us. I hope you have a happy day of birth too!

  5. Thursday, August 8th?

It would be quite the send-off.

  6. Oooh, a good way to get the before image so we can compare it later to the tanned and relaxed after image.
I went in a new direction today. Found yet another influence through which to mine my iTunes.
    I'm game for the 8th.

  7. The 08th should work for me - I'm home until vacation the 11th-21st!

  8. Let's plan on the 8th. My place. Let's go out with a bang!!!!!!!!!!!

Not music club cuz "we've only just begun" but my house in West Seattle.

  9. Greg can't make it tomorrow night. Guess Ruby isn't old enough to baby sit yet.
Would the remaining 5 like to meet for a cocktail after work instead and we can reschedule music club?

  10. Cocktails is good for me. And Carol would like to come if there will be talk of things non-music club mixed in.
If you are up for it, where?

    1. YES! YES? Am I under the same influence in the fall? We'll see.

So, what is up with everyone? Like are you guys listening to music? Is 2013 inspiring you? Do you have one word to describe it so far? Did the year start with a bang and now is limping along?

2013 and I are having a bunch of fun (Kacey Mucgraves, Jason Isbell, Vampire Weekend) and how will I not LOVR a Elvis Costello / The Roots collaboration?

  18. Let's meet October 3rd. It's a new month!

  19. Another first Thursday, another night I have to work.
Deb, Oct 3rd is the opening for the Deborah Butterfield show. I'm guessing 9 or 10 horses, 4 or 5 of them big and bronze.

  20. The DB Horse show; at your gallery? If everyone's available on the 26th of this month let's do it then, otherwise, we may never pin this down.

  21. Yes, at my gallery.
I am indeed available. Can we? May we?

  22. Yes, yes, yes!

It will be autumn and autumn sounds like pizza to me!

  23. A) How did you get the song list to the top of post? That's neat.
    B) Why is everything checked but "Sweet Home Alabama"?
    C) Did we come up with a new theme? What would that be?
    D) Did anyone see Mark Lanegan at the Neptune or Glen Tilbrook at the Tractor? Me neither.
    E) Why? Because, evidently, I am lame.
    F) Enjoy Shovels & Rope!

  24. Shovels & Rope was FANTASTIC.
And leads a bit to our next theme. Songs that make you feel all bouncy and happy.

    1. Is it really songs that make you feel all bouncy and happy, or are you testing my gullibility?

  25. So why the kerfuffle with BLURRED LINES and not ALONE? I would say Miguel ripped off Marvin as much as, but probably more than, Robin.

  26. Can someone remind me the way ROCK WITH YOU worked in the Under the Influence theme? That night evidently was a blur.
