Your sign baby! You can go anyway with it. As a Sag, I immediately thought of "Cupid" by Sam Cooke but Debbie deemed it too literal an interpretation. Drawing board for me! Gina, let us know your preferred dates.

The 6th is first Thursday so I think Jim will have to be at his gallery for the art walk. How about Sunday the 2nd? Or Friday the 7th. Pat and I can host, outdoor seating and all.
Hi- I know it's been awhile since this discussion started, but Thursday the 6th is actually better for me this time. It is a first Thursday, but I will be working Sunday the 2nd at the Seattle Art Fair. Oh, and if you didn't know about this and always wanted to go to an Art Fair, that's happening. I don't think it will be to Miami Basel levels, but it will be something new. A lot of NY, LA, and SF galleries as well as Seattle and a few others. Some really good galleries. They typically look at Seattle as a little Podunk and not worth their time. I think because this is a bit of a Paul Allen pet project, they're willing to give it a shot. Anyways, I'll be working it like July 27 - August 2nd.
Excellent! I want to assure you all that, as a Libra, I will NOT be bringing any of the following as my selections: 1. The Weight 2. Carry That Weight 3. He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother
That is so awesome, I am truly inspired. And please, no one say anything about my bed head, I would hate to lose any of my sycophants, oops, I mean friends...
Friends - Is there anyway we could get together next Monday, before Gina leaves, instead of this week? Tom's mom is going on an Alaska cruise next week and has decided to drive up early to visit with us a spell. I'd not be able to join Thurs as I'll be tied up with in-laws, kibitzing about cruise wear and what not.
I get it if it's not an option but wanted to throw it out there in the off chance... I'm prepared to submit my picks remotely and given I'm not exactly life of the party material these days health wise, seriously "No, we're sticking with Thurs" is a completely acceptable reply.
Whoopie!!
ReplyDeleteQQ… Are we getting assigned a sign or can we pick our own. I'm rather partial to "Under Construction".
ReplyDeleteDay? Time? Location?

ReplyDeleteOh man, party foul on my part! I'm not crazy about the song, could it be I let my personal feelings color my response?
DeleteI'm open between Aug 1 and 9! As a Libra, I'll let you all make the decision on the actual date.

Thursday, August 6th is super best.
Ok, there we have it. Music Club will be Thursday the 6th of August at Pat & Deb's. 7:00 pm. You all know the drill.

Here's a little something to stoke the sign fires… Use it at will for our next gathering :-)

DeleteOK, this is a softer, friendlier read on our respective signs… Can't wait to see what direction you all choose!

They use the word “Attractive" twice. I can’t complain about that. But they also say "Very Predictable" twice, which is just lazy. Or maybe Meta.
ReplyDeleteI have found an easy way to avoid bed head, and I think we could all use a sycophant or two.
