I was going to post that that double bill would have sounded a ton more compelling in the year 2000, but I was afraid that would sound mean.
And I didn't want it to sound mean. I like both of them. Well, musically anyway, I don't know them. And I didn't like RB's last solo disc. Is JWH still recording? I should just stop now.
Also, who's RB? Did you mean Rhett Butler? Because he hasn't released any solo work for ages. I saw John Wesley Harding once. He is a charming, charming man.
I know, right? I almost always think Rhett Butler whenever people talk about Rhett Miller. I almost always think Librarians whenever people talk about Libertarians. I almost always think of Jackson Browne whenever people talk about the time Michael Jackson met James Brown.
Can't you twitter to them as well? Is that how that works? Can you just ask them or can you only observe from afar?

Congrats on that whole not sounding mean thing.

ReplyDeleteHa! You are exactly right, I said Rhett Butler instead of Rhett Miller.
ReplyDeleteAt least I didn't say Brett Butler.

ReplyDeleteThe Rhett Butler EP Tara is pretty sweet. Hasn't heard anything since then though.
